Hey guys and gals out in Magic land, welcome back to the War Torn Front blog. I'm Brandon and I'm here to be your guide into the inner workings here at War Torn!
First. It is great to be back to writing again. I have neglected this side for so long as I have been helping get War Torn Front set up but now is the time for a new series of content from your local game shop! It has been a hectic few months as the shop has gained new ground and broken records thanks to the community! The growth is only beginning and it is thanks to Chia's vision, Placido's guidance, and the hard work of you guys that we have gotten this far!
Seriously, these last few months have shown how great the community can be in shaping what the Magic scene is like. I have seen many new players and returning players come out of the woodwork and get better as a result of the community. We may be competitive, but we are also teachers and rivals. We encourage one another to do better and strive to make this community not just a good one, but a great one! The community has grown so much, I consider many of you as an extension of my family. Imagine, a hobby where your passion and drive helps create some of the strongest bonds between people. That is this community! Every day new people are joining the War Torn Front family and everyday I have to learn new names, which surprisingly is difficult. However, it is worth it. You, my family, friends, acquaintances, and newcomers make being at the shop a truly humbling experience. Im glad I have gotten to know some of you very well and I look forward to knowing more of you in the coming months.
I know, this post is a little sappy, but I feel this is one of the best ways to get back into the swing of things for the blog. Next week, I plan to discuss some of the future events War Torn is playing host too! I hope there isn't a Conspiracy floating around or a Hunter who's looking for the biggest game imaginable waiting!
