The closing of the summer has started, but you would not know it here at War Torn Front Game Center. The fires of the Standard crew are still quite red hot as we start a brand new month into the FNM Leaderboard.

Ricky H kicked this month off right, not only defending his King of the Hill from last month, but going 4-0 for a third straight week! Can this guy be stopped? Only time and the brews of Standard can tell.

Winner of the Preliminary Pro Tour Qualifier for Pro Tour: Aether Revolt

The road to the Pro Tour starts here!

This past Sunday, 25 players came down to our humble little store with the intent to claim an invite for the coveted Regional Pro Tour Qualifier for Pro Tour: Aether Revolt. 5 rounds of swiss play and a grueling Top 8 meant only one person could stand tall and claim victory.

Congratulations to Jason Reed for taking down our Preliminary Pro Tour Qualifier. We wish you the best of luck in taking down the Regional PTQ and finally joining the ranks of the Pros on the Pro Tour.

FNM July Leaderboard Update 7/22/2016

One more week remains in the month of July for the FNM leaderboard.

This past week Eldritch Moon was released into the Standard card pool. Most players were still struggling to get ahold of the new hot cards for Standard and opted to draft to pick them up. As such, 10 players came to battle with the new Eldritch cards in their main decks. After 4 rounds of Swiss, Ricky H stood undefeated taking first place in the Leaderboard and claiming King of the Hill.

Another week of FNM Standard is in the books and the leaderboard #1 spot is in a precarious position.

This past week 15 players came to battle Standard as Eldritch Moon's Prerelease drew near. At the end of 4 rounds, Kuang C ended the night undefeated and stealing the #1 spot from Alfredo R and claiming King of the Hill.

There are still two weeks left to decided this month's FNM Leaderboard Winners. Will you be the one to claim that spot? Join us this Friday as a new set is added into the Standard format.

Eldritch Moon hangs in the distance and a new Standard await us all! Welcome to another edition of the FNM July Leaderboard.

This week 24 players came to battle in our Standard format FNM. After 4 rounds, Ben L stood as the only undefeated player, however Alfredo R was able to sneak up higher on the leaderboard and now stands at the #1 spot. Will Ben L repeat next week with another undefeated streak? Will Alfredo R hold unto the #1 spot on the Leaderboard?
